Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress, Inc.

Partners In Progress is a collaboration of organizations that have partnered together to make Ottumwa a better place to live and work. Partner organizations include; Bridge View Center, Inc., Main Street Ottumwa, Ottumwa Area Chamber of Commerce, Ottumwa Economic Development Corporation, and the Greater Ottumwa Convention and Visitors Bureau. Through this partnership our organizations work together on a common goal as well as pursuing the missions of their individual organizations.

Bridge View Center, Inc.

The mission of Bridge View Center, Inc. is to provide support to Bridge View Center, a regional multifunctional event center, partnering with the City of Ottumwa and Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Greater Ottumwa Convention and Visitors Bureau

The mission of the Greater Ottumwa CVB is to effectively market the Ottumwa area as a preferred travel destination in order to encourage and expand new business activity, increase overnight visitation and tax revenues, and enhance the quality of place for area residents. The Greater Ottumwa CVB is a destination marketing organization and its team is an extension of its stakeholders, working to provide sales, services, and marketing support to the local tourism industry.

Main Street Ottumwa

The mission of Main Street Ottumwa program is to improve the social and economic well-being of our district by capitalizing on the unique identity, assets and character of our downtown area using the comprehensive Main Street Four Point Approach.

Ottumwa Area Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Ottumwa Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote, support and advocate the needs of business and industry that will encourage positive growth in which to live, work and do business.

Ottumwa Economic Development Corporation

The mission of the Ottumwa Economic Development Corporation is to “establish, develop and maintain industrial opportunities of such character as it will enlarge employment opportunities and assist in the growth and development of the greater Ottumwa area.”
