Survey! Gaging the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Iowa Businesses
March 10, 2021
Last year in both March and May, Iowa Economic Development Authority utilized two different surveys to best gage the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Iowa businesses, and develop funding programs through the CARES Act that ultimately were distributed to Iowa industry sector and companies.
IEDA would like to once again survey the community and use the information collected through the survey to inform it’s continuing public policy and programming in responding to the ongoing impacts of the pandemic and recovery on Iowa. These are major indicators of economic upturn in the areas of manufacturing, childcare, education, and finance.
It is IMPORTANT for Wapello County businesses and individuals to participate in this survey; Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress is supporting IEDA’s efforts to mobilize businesses and organizations within our communities to complete this assessment.
If there are at least 50 responses, GOPIP will receive a confidential and anonymous report that recaps the impact of COVID on our nearly $4 billion economy. Please click on the link below to begin your participation, and thank you for your prompt attention. Survey deadline is Wednesday, March 17 at 5pm.
