About the event

Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and inspiration at the 2026 Annual Banquet, the premier event for the Ottumwa Area business community. This special night brings together business and community leaders to reflect on our shared accomplishments and look ahead to another year of growth and progress in Greater Ottumwa.

📅 Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026

⏰ Time: 5:30 PM

📍 Location: Bridge View Center

The evening begins with a networking hour featuring a variety of delicious catered tastings by Chef Seth, followed by a program highlighting the milestones and successes of the past year. This year’s keynote speaker, Tom Hicks, is a lifelong educator, former college dean, and founder of Throw & Catch Consulting who uses the art of juggling to help audiences embrace failure, build resilience, and develop a growth mindset.

Highlights of the night include the presentation of the Gene Schultz Community Service Award, a tradition since 1993 honoring outstanding dedication to our community, and the recognition of the Business of the Year Award, celebrating excellence and achievement in our local business community. Don’t miss this inspiring evening with peers, partners, and community members.

RSVP by October 10th by contacting Diana at reception@ottumwaiowa.com or (641) 682-3465, or order tickets online here.
