How It Works

 

1. Shop with a GOPIP Investor

 

Make a purchase of at least $10 before tax from a current GOPIP investor business.

 

Use the GOPIP Investor Directory to find local retailers, restaurants, service providers, and other businesses that qualify.

2. Bring Us Your Receipt

 

Bring your qualifying receipt to the GOPIP office (217 E Main St).

 

When you submit your first receipt, GOPIP staff will give you an official Investor Passport and add your first stamp. Bring your card back with each additional qualifying receipt to continue collecting stamps.

3. Complete Your Passport

 

Collect 10 stamps representing purchases from 10 different GOPIP investor businesses.

 

When GOPIP staff verifies your tenth qualifying receipt, you will receive $20 in GOPIP Bucks.

GOPIP Investor Passport Rules

 

Qualifying Purchases

​

• Each qualifying purchase must be at least $10 before tax.

• Purchases must be made from a current GOPIP investor business.

• A completed passport must represent purchases from 10 different investor businesses.

• Each business may count only once on the same passport.

• Multiple purchases from the same business cannot fill additional spaces on the same card.

• A single transaction may only earn one stamp, regardless of the total purchase amount.

• Returned or refunded purchases do not qualify.

• Purchases of gift cards or GOPIP Bucks do not qualify.

Receipt Requirements

​​

• A unique, dated receipt is required for every stamp.

• Each receipt must clearly identify the business, purchase date, and qualifying purchase amount.

• A receipt may only be submitted once.

• Receipts may not be shared, duplicated, transferred, or submitted by more than one participant.

• GOPIP may mark, record, scan, photograph, or retain information from submitted receipts to prevent duplicate use.

• Receipts that are incomplete, altered, duplicated, or otherwise unverifiable may be declined.

• GOPIP reserves the right to contact a business to verify a purchase when necessary.

Passport Requirements

• Only GOPIP staff may stamp an Investor Passport.

• Participants must bring their physical passport to the GOPIP office each time they submit a receipt.

• Photographs, scans, or copies of passports will not be accepted.

• Passports are issued to an individual participant and are nontransferable.

• The participant named on the card must submit the receipts and redeem the completed passport.

• Passports do not reset at the end of a calendar quarter.

• Qualifying purchases may span multiple weeks, months, or quarters.

• Cards may remain active until completed while the program is available.

• Participants should contact GOPIP if a card is lost. Replacement or restoration of previously earned stamps is not guaranteed and will depend on available program records.

Rewards and Redemption

​​

• A completed passport must include 10 verified stamps from 10 different GOPIP investor businesses.

• Upon verification of the tenth qualifying purchase, the participant will receive $20 in GOPIP Bucks.

• Each participant may redeem only one completed passport per calendar quarter.

• Participants may begin or continue working on another passport, but an additional reward cannot be issued until a later quarter.

• Completed cards will be collected or permanently marked by GOPIP to prevent reuse.

• Rewards are subject to program funding and availability.

• GOPIP may establish quarterly or annual redemption limits.

• GOPIP reserves the right to deny a reward when a card or receipt does not meet the program requirements.

• GOPIP may update, pause, or end the program as necessary.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do all 10 purchases need to be made during the same quarter?

 

No. Your passport remains active until you complete it, provided the program remains available. Your qualifying receipts may span multiple calendar quarters.

The quarterly limit applies only to rewards. Each participant may receive one completed-passport reward per quarter.

Can I visit the same business more than once?

 

You may continue shopping with any GOPIP investor, but each business may only provide one qualifying purchase toward the same passport. To complete the card, you must visit 10 different investor businesses.

Do I receive my card before I start shopping?

 

You will receive your Investor Passport when you bring your first qualifying receipt to the GOPIP office. GOPIP staff will verify the receipt and add your first stamp.

Can the business stamp my card?

 

No. All receipts must be brought to the GOPIP office. Only designated GOPIP staff may verify purchases and stamp the passport.

Do I have to bring my card every time?

 

Yes. Bring your physical Investor Passport each time you submit a qualifying receipt.

Can one large purchase earn more than one stamp?

 

No. Each unique transaction may earn only one stamp, regardless of how much you spend.

​

Do all GOPIP investors accept GOPIP Bucks?

 

No. A business may qualify as an Investor Passport purchase location without participating in the GOPIP Bucks program.

The $20 reward may only be spent at businesses that currently accept GOPIP Bucks.

​

What happens if I lose my card?

 

Contact the GOPIP office. GOPIP may be able to confirm previously submitted purchases through its records, but replacement cards and restored stamps are not guaranteed.

When will I receive my GOPIP Bucks?

 

Your $20 reward will be issued after GOPIP staff verifies your tenth qualifying receipt and confirms that all program requirements have been met.
