Ottumwa WinterFest: Ice, Lights, and Local Delights

For 20 years, Holiday Nights ’N Lights brought families together to celebrate the magic of the season. Beginning in 2025, we’re introducing a new holiday tradition—one that builds on that spirit in fresh and interactive ways.

Ottumwa WinterFest will take place at the Southeast Iowa Sports Center and span a full week of festive fun. With the tagline “Ice, Lights, and Local Delights,” this celebration brings together the best of the season in a new format designed for all ages.

Highlights include:

Ice Skating Rink – Lace up your skates and make memories on the ice.
Holiday Vendor Market – Shop local artisans and businesses for unique gifts.
Children’s Activities – Hands-on, interactive fun to spark holiday joy and creativity.
Seasonal Entertainment – Community experiences to bring everyone together.

While the name and format may have changed, the heart of the event remains the same: bringing our community together to celebrate the holidays. WinterFest promises to be a new tradition for Ottumwa and the region—one filled with laughter, light, and lasting memories.
