What does one week look like at Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress?

It looks like welcoming interns to Ottumwa and showing them what makes Wapello County a great place to work and live.

It looks like meeting with Congressional representatives to discuss the priorities of our business community and residents.

It looks like bringing together local elected officials and utility providers to talk about the future of infrastructure and its role in economic growth.

It looks like celebrating our local veterans with a ribbon cutting for a new memorial.

It looks like welcoming two new investors into our organization.

It looks like recognizing young entrepreneurs through our 2026 Lemonade Day Best Stand Awards.

It looks like meeting with state officials to explore development opportunities for local downtown developers.

And it looks like bringing local leaders and workforce development partners together to find creative workforce pipeline solutions.

This is the work happening every week to advance the Greater Ottumwa Region — building relationships, supporting growth, and helping move our community forward.
